We tried to stay really busy on Nick's birthday. I worked, subbing for the computer teacher for most of the day. Then when the kids got home we went to the Pumpkin Walk. That has been a tradition for most of the years we have lived in Cache Valley. Some of you have even gone with us!
We thought it was especially appropriate that several scenes at the Pumpkin Walk were from Nick's favorite movie, The Princess Bride.
Then we grabbed some dinner and headed over to the Morrey's house. We made some taffy, but it didn't really set up. It felt like slime! It was really yummy...such a shame.
Notice we were watching The Princess Bride while we made taffy. We mostly enjoyed being with Sister Morrey in a place we felt comfortable and loved.
Thank you to everyone who left messages, sent us notes, or prayed for us this day. We felt the comfort of the Spirit and of everyone's love. Thanks!

Fun to see these pictures, Katherine. Thanks for posting them.
That was a tender mercy/fun thing for so many themes to be from "The Princess Bride." (So many lines to quote from that movie.)
We are thrilled about you getting a nice big garage. It will be great! We ask God to bless the many people who have been so good to you (plural).
The Pumpkin Walk looks amazing. People went to a ton of thought and work to put that together. I've never heard of it. Is it a Hyrum thing?
