It's beginning to look a lot like I might get a driveway! One man came and scraped away the grass in preparation for a driveway. As you can tell from the snow sleds, the neighborhood kids had a blast on the hill of dirt!
Then my contractor brought in an excavator to dig the trenches for the footings and foundation. He also removed the bushes that were in the way. And the one that was just old. ;)
Another great man in the ward brought his big truck to haul away the bushes and grass-filled dirt.
This space looks kind of empty now without the bushes!
I asked Christopher to get in this picture and smile.
But this is really what he wanted to do! I'm not sure what he was kicking...
